We were asked to start with some basic photo and alter it to achieve "something"
the basic photo is a photo of a tulip taken by me

then I cut the photo to pieces to achieve more or less symmetrical pattern
after that I duplicated that to achieve ornamental pattern
after that I was informed that it looks boring, so I added eyes to introduce disturbance to the observer.
the photos of eyes were also taken by me
Later the achived effect was used to make mockups, and to see how the pattern would behave on different objects
in this case on a mug and as a full print on a pillow.
